IEP Trip to Columbia Farmers Market – Saturday, June 10 @ 9:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The Columbia Farmers Market is open every Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. Here you can buy fresh, local food from local farmers.

This time of year the Farmers Market will probably offer vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, and onions.  There may also be strawberries or blueberries. In addition, there is often freshly baked bread and pastries, and fresh meat.

In addition to the Farmers Market, we will first go to Shelter Gardens.  This is a beautiful park filled with local plants and flowers. It also features a historic one-room school.
