About the Conversation Program at Lenoir Retirement Community:

About Lenoir: The residents at Lenoir Retirement Community are elderly (older) people. They are interested in talking with you and helping you with your English. Some of them are retired teachers or professors; others have been in business, farming, journalism, or other fields. Many of them have traveled to or lived in other countries—maybe even yours! They have seen many changes in American culture and lifestyle during their lives, and they have a lot of fascinating stories to tell. They are very interesting people to talk to! This summer term, we plan to go to Lenoir Retirement Community a total of 4 times. (We go 3 Tuesdays in a row, skip the July 4th holiday, and go again July 11th).
